Kyle played bagpipes for my engagement. He was very professional and great to work with which was key while planning out of state. Kyle played beautifully and made it very special for us. A huge thank you to him and I would recommend him anytime.

About
My name is Kyle Lindsay, I am U.S. Army veteran as well as a Volunteer/ Professional fireman. I live just north of Myrtle Beach with my Wife Brittany and our three children. Coming from a fire service family and a Great Uncle who started the Westchester Emerald Society Pipes and Drums, bagpipes have been in my life forever. I took a serious interest in high school and was offered lessons by a wonderful teacher of mine who at the time played with New York Metro who were Competing grade II at the time. From there on I feel in love with the bagpipes, I took a small hiatus for a couple years while I was in the military finding I didn’t really have time to play much during that time. After that I dove right back into the pipes following coming home, I got on the fire department with the City of Danbury and deepened my love of the pipes and fire service. When I got back home in 2017 I Joined the Westchester Emerald society Pipes and Drums and played with them until we moved away from New York, I am still a member just not very active unless we are visiting, I was the Pipe Corporal of the band when we moved away. I also played with a grade V competition band in New York, The Pelham Regional Pipe Band, I played with them for a short time before we moved away. In 2023 we moved from New York to South Carolina where we are now, I got connected with the Coastal Carolina Pipes and Shields and the rest is history. I still play with the Coastal Carolina Shields as well as am just starting to compete in solo competitions to dip my feet back in.
