I am a very easy person to work with. I am accommodating and am always available for questions and concerns. I will work hard the entire time that I am hired for, you will never see me taking it easy or on my phone. I take my job very seriously and will not a single moment of your event due to distraction. I also bring a different perspective than most of my competition since most are self taught using the same resources. My talent and vision comes from experience photographing and being artistic my whole life.

I know what you are thinking. Who is that mystery woman behind that camera? What makes her special and why should I trust her to take such important pictures? What could make me feel better about having her capture this important event or time of my child's life?

Relax, you are in good hands! My name is Krista, and I look to do more than take a picture, instead I focus on creating art. It makes me happy to be a part of so many special moments - whether its photographing your one year old before they grow another day or taking pictures at your son or daughters baptism. I know how important it is to have the right pictures from once in a lifetime events and moments, and I want you to know that you can trust me to do a great job. I will stay behind my lens to make sure I don't miss anything, I will correct you if you are in an awkward pose, and I will have no problem kindly telling your family member who takes a ton of photos at events to step aside so I can properly do my job. I want you to get to know me before we work together, so when that important day comes you feel a little calmer. Before your scheduled photo shoot or event, we can meet in person to have a cup of coffee, talk on the phone, or email - whatever you are most comfortable with! I am here to make your photography experience the best and most enjoyable experience it can be!

Unlike many other professional photographers that are in my field, I am not self taught. I did not watch a the same videos everyone else did to learn about studio lighting and shutter speeds - I learned everything I know by experience. My career in art started when I was five years old. I have always been artistic and crafty and have spent most of my life drawing, painting, photographing and studying art. I decided that there was no other career path for me than to be an artist. I went to college to major in Graphic Design and minor in Photography. My first job out of college was at an auction house where I photographed every type of antique you could think of. I also photographed events through the auction house and head shots of the appraisers. I really enjoyed photography so I decided to continue to shoot on my own time which soon after became my business that I love!

Since I am an on-location photographer, I mainly use manual lighting, but if it isn't available I have other lighting available (flash and studio).
