Friendly, kind, sounded amazing AND flexible- even putting up with the most ridiculously rainy day. Our guests have seen 13 years worth of different bands at our crawfish boils- and they had nothing but compliments for King Street. Will look to rebook for next year same time same place but with sunny skies. ☀️

Tremendous musicians and vocalists who know how to read the room and play exactly what the moment calls for. This band and 2 of the Surf Jaguars made our wedding so special and unique! They had quick responses, were easy to plan with, and have loads of talent. 15/10 recommend.

What to expect
We can perform as a trio, with bass, guitar or banjo, or with our full group of 6 members for three part vocal harmony, and fiddle when needed. We have a small footprint and don’t need a lot of space. We can perform amplified or acoustically.
We have instrumental expertise and capability to play instrumentally with no vocals, for square dances, or where old-time music is desired.

With award-winning members, King Street Bluegrass is a traditional bluegrass band with blues, folk, and country influences.
Although based in DC, King Street Bluegrass’ members have rural, farm and coal miner family roots from the mountains of West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Southern Virginia.
They’ll regale you with familiar Bluegrass Country Americana and a original tune or two, beloved by their audiences.
