Becoming a Health Coach and an advocate for healthy living was not exactly my obvious destiny. In fact, if someone had told me five years ago that today people would be coming to me for health advice and that I’d have a book about nutrition and wellness, I would have laughed at them! My journey up until this point was one of many setbacks and baby steps. When I took a moment to look back and realized that those baby steps added up to an amazing personal transformation, my book “The Small Change Solution” was born.
I teach women and men that which is that healthy living is not about harsh, restrictive diets. It is, in fact, about incorporating small changes into the life you’re already living. I also emphasize the importance of balance, meaning that health extends beyond the food on your plate and the number of hours you log at the gym. A truly healthy lifestyle encompasses nourishing loving relationships, keeping stress to a minimum, and spending good quality time with yourself. In addition to talking about WHY these things are important, I also tell you how.
I am also an advocate for heart health, having turned my life around after losing my dad unexpectedly from a heart attack in 2013. I founded the website (link hidden) and spend much of my time spreading the word about the importance of heart healthy living.
