In the dynamic realm of alternative rock, Kickstand Jenny, a powerhouse hailing from Florida, has recently unveiled their magnum opus, “Between The Lies.” This full-length album, comprising ten tracks of musical prowess, showcases the exceptional vocals of former L.A. Guns frontman, Scott Foster Harris. Infused with killer hits, licks, and riffs from guitarist Preston Morelock and bassist Chris McComas, the album also features collaborations with luminaries such as Mark Slaughter of Slaughter and Jim Riley of Rascal Flatts. Produced by the legendary Chas Sandford, “Between The Lies” transcends the typical album experience, taking the listener on a conceptual journey from start to finish.

Having inked a deal with Spectra Music Group in 2022, Kickstand Jenny, based in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, was founded by guitarist Preston Morelock. Drawing inspiration from a diverse array of musical genres, ranging from Van Halen to Prince, the band has meticulously crafted their unique musical identity. Morelock, a self-taught musician, began his musical journey in childhood, citing Van Halen’s iconic “Eruption” as one of his earliest inspirations.

Fronting the band is the remarkable vocalist Scott Foster Harris, a Texan whose musical journey began in 2006, transitioning from a professional bull rider to forming the band Zen Rizing. His tenure with L.A. Guns in Los Angeles further solidified his place in the music scene. Accompanying them is bassist Chris McComas, a self-taught musician from Fort Walton Beach, Florida, who commenced his professional journey in 2000, drawing early influences from Mötley Crü(link hidden)own for their hard work and humble spirits, Kickstand Jenny has shared stages with musical idols including Slaughter, Living Colour, Sebastian Bach, L.A. Guns, and LIT.

“Between The Lies” is not merely a collection of tracks; it’s a meticulously crafted concept album. Inspired by the pandemic-induced “death of live music,” the album narrates the death and rebirth of a soul, symbolizing the resilience of musicians in the face of adversity. Recorded in Nashville, Tennessee, under the guidance of esteemed producer Chas Sandford, the album was released on June 9th, marking the culmination of more than three years of dedication and determination.
