In a professional and friendly manner, I'll ask whether they're familiar with tarot or would appreciate a brief explanation of how it works. I'll communicate the reading options you've selected for your event (10 minutes, 15 minutes, or longer) and ensure everyone feels comfortable and that their privacy is respected before we begin.
During our reading time, I'll happily dive into every question and bring those cards to life—finding that sweet spot where meaning meets momentum, so nothing gets lost in the shuffle or slows the party vibe. About
Over the past 35 years, I've conducted thousands of readings—building a practice grounded in both study and experience. Like many of my generation, I was introduced to tarot by a family member, then deepened my understanding through books found in brick-and-mortar occult and spiritual shops. The journey from eager beginner to seasoned reader unfolds through decades of self-education, client work, and peer support.
I've also spent years studying the Yijing (Book of Changes), learning from advanced practitioners including Jewels Rocka, LiSe Heyboer, and Joel Biroco. This practice informs my approach to change, timing, and nuanced interpretation—skills I bring to every session.

Workshop Format
For teaching engagements, I cover:
Tarot Workshops:

Yijing Workshops:

- Seating: Adequate comfortable seating must be provided for both the reader and guests
- Table: A small table is required for readings
- Setup: Event hosts are responsible for providing and arranging furniture; I am unable to provide, lift, or rearrange chairs or tables
For Workshops:
- Presentation Setup: A projector screen or blank wall for projected materials
- I Bring: My own projector for slides and visual aids

My practice sits at the intersection of psychology, mythology, and lived mystical experience. The following have shaped how I read, teach, and hold space for others:
Academic & Literary Foundations
Rachel Pollack's work on tarot symbolism and archetypal meaning has been essential throughout my career. Carl Jung's explorations of the collective unconscious, synchronicity, and shadow work provide the psychological framework I return to again and again. Irish and Scottish fairy tales and myths infuse my readings with the Celtic sense of liminality—those thresholds where worlds brush against each other.
Classical Divination
The Yijing (I Ching) grounds me in an ancient Chinese approach to change and timing. Studying its hexagrams alongside tarot has deepened my ability to trace patterns across both traditions, recognizing how wisdom repeats across cultures and centuries.
Training & Apprenticeship
I studied performance art at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, which taught me how presence, gesture, and pacing shape any transformative encounter. Beyond that, I completed a 2-year apprenticeship in the European Earth Mysteries tradition, learning seasonal cycles, land-based ritual, and the ethics of working with place and spirit.
Paranormal Lineage
Forteana—the study of anomalous phenomena—draws from my multigenerational family background in paranormal research. My sister Cassandra Boyd, an expert psychic medium and past life regression specialist, continues to be a professional influence and conversation partner in navigating nonordinary states.
These threads converge in every session: artistry meeting scholarship, personal heritage meeting global wisdom, and the practical grounded in the sacred.
