Corri, we're so sorry if you were not 100% thrilled with our recent services, and we are very surprised, as it seemed that everyone was enjoying themselves & everything went well that day. The medical emergency on our end, causing a delay that day, was real...and we're happy to provide documentation of that, if desired, in case there's any doubt. We did try to call & let you know in advance. We still got set up in time and started on time, as promised.
Regarding the microphone, we're not sure what you're referring to, as we ALWAYS let clients use our wireless; that's an amenity offered in ALL packages...our premium quality, digital wireless mic's are one of the many perks of using our company. I'm sorry if at ANY point, one of your team members thought they weren't allowed to use it; we know we offered the wireless to everyone involved, but perhaps someone chose to have us announce instead. They were welcome to use the mic at any time.
If you couldn't hear us in any area, we would've been happy to turn the volume up higher, at your request...it was not even halfway up that day. We thought it was already quite loud where the speakers were placed, and we didn't want to make the attendees uncomfortable who were sitting nearby. For the wide outdoor area requiring sound, however, I would highly recommend a larger package for next year, as two large speakers truly cannot cover THAT wide of a space, and another pair would have been optimal.
Our office assistant followed up after the show, as we do with all clients, to make sure everyone is happy & see if there's anything we could've done differently. She contacted each of you once, though we didn't hear back. But never at ANY time did she request a tip; that would be tasteless of us. Could she have said "tip" in another context? Perhaps her meaning was lost in translation.
We are happy to bring extra speakers for you next year, on us; we WANT you to have optimal sound, and a great experience!

Hi Mark. I'm sorry I was not familiar with GigSalad, but it was only the first or second gig I may have gotten from this platform in recent memory. There are so many lead services, and they all have different policies and practices. I am much more familiar with the services who give me work on a regular basis. I apologize for any inconvenience.
