Kenia Adorno was born in the state of Goiás, Brazil, in 1974. During her childhood, she was highly influenced by church music, where she demonstrated her musical inclination - and with the support of family and friends, she started studying classical piano at the age of 9. Later, in 2002, she got a degree in Voice Performance at the Federal University of Goiás in Brazil. Since then, she has performed in many choirs, bands, and operas – as a soloist. During a 4-year-tenure, she was part of the (Chamber Choir of Goiás ) – having the opportunity to sing, alongside a vocal ensemble, for the president of Brazil. As a recording artist, the highlight goes for the Lento Acalanto (with the Chamber Choir of Goiás) featuring the renowned composer Estércio Marquez; she has also participated in numerous records ranging from classical to Brazilian popular music as a session vocalist. Since 2004, she has been working as a vocal coach in the U.S, currently residing in Orlando -FL. In 2014 she released her first solo album entitled "Tempo de Viver" (Time to Live), launching her career as a solo artist. Featuring a lovely fusion of classical music and pop music. In 2015 she recorded a live version of Tempo de Viver (Time to Live) recorded in an orchestra studio room, reproducing her entire debut album to an entire audience with the addition of a few well-known classics. The year 2016 is marked by the release of an original Christmas Song entitled "Gloria In Excelsis," her first recording in New York City. In 2020, her career continued with the single "Estação Purpura" (Purple Season) with the same musical influences and richness from her first album. In the future, Kenia plans to maintain her very fulfilling artistic activity with yet another full album and tour dates around the world. She has a beautiful nine-year-old daughter called Natasha and is married to Lucas Borges, her songwriter, and main supporter.
