November 25, 2024Keith The Guitar Guy was so much fun and he knew how to read the crowd! We entertain a lot and have booked many musicians over the years and Keith is one of the most outstanding and professional musicians that we've ever hired. He kept in contact leading up to our special day making sure to compile a list of songs that were our favorites which we appreciated so much. He even learned a song for us that we used for our first dance at our 30 year vow renewal event. Keith and his lovely wife showed up a few hours ahead to set up his equipment and have it ready to go which took the stress off of us knowing he was there to help orchestrate the night. I would highly recommended Keith The Guitar Guy if you're looking for a professional, amazingly talented guitarist and singer, who can belt out any song in many different ranges and eras. Thank you Keith and Jeana for going over and beyond and helping to make our special night unforgettable!

September 24, 2023We hired Keith for my Mom’s 80th birthday party. He was communicative the entire time, including when he was leaving his home to come to the event. Hello,
I will arrive at your location at least 1 hour early to setup, sound check and have "House Music" playing through my PA system as your guests arrive.
I have extra microphones for toasts and speeches.
I will have a set list tailored to your event.
I can immediately change or modify the set list to fit the mood of your event.
I do not take long breaks if I take one at all.
My role in this is to bring professionalism and happiness to your event through my music performance.
I started playing the guitar at the age of 15 (1978). Within six months I was in my first band, and we were gigging! I learned a great deal from people like my Uncle Bob, who was a tremendous lead guitarist in Los Angeles. I also got a thorough education from the other guys in my band who were better than me.
Through the years I've been in many bands. Some where we played our own songs as well as several cover bands. I love most styles of music so it's easy for me to play different genres like oldies, blues, reggae, and country as well as classic rock.
With today's technology I'm able to perform on my own. Looping and backing tracks afford me the ability to sound like two or more musicians. Like the whole band. When I play a song using backing tracks, I can keep the volume level the same as when I'm playing acoustic only. And I take up less space!

For outdoors during the day - covered area or shade during the entire performance.
Please inform me if I need to bring any lighting.

My setlist is constantly evolving and is different from show to show. I know hundreds of songs. I am more than happy to accept special requests for your event with advance notice.
