Great speaker even better guy.

Keith Kirkpatrick’s Working Genius seminar was outstanding and incredibly valuable for our team. Keith did a great job breaking down the different working styles in a way that was engaging, practical, and easy to apply immediately. Our team walked away with a much better understanding of each other’s strengths, communication styles, and how we work together more effectively. It sparked great conversations and gave us tools we’ll continue to use moving forward. Highly recommend Keith and his seminar to any organization looking to improve teamwork and collaboration.

Influences and inspiration

Keith’s approach to leadership and engagement was shaped early in his career, when he stepped into his first leadership role and quickly realized success depended on the people working alongside him—not just direction from above. As he invested in building relationships and inspiring those around him, he saw performance and results steadily improve. He carried that lesson with him through roles in the food industry, government agencies, and into his Army National Guard career.

Through experience, effort, and dedicated training, Keith continued to grow as a leader and began to recognize that what he had been practicing all along had a name—leadership rooted in influence, trust, and connection. As his military career progressed, he expanded his development through formal education, earning a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership and professional certifications in Human Resources, including SHRM and PHR.

It was through the combination of real-world experience and formal education that Keith fully connected the concept of leading from the middle with organizational engagement—understanding that engagement is not driven from the top alone, but built through the everyday actions of leaders at every level.
