What do Top 40 hits, Julie Andrews, and Mozart all have in common? I sing all of them! I am an emerging singer that is comfortable in multiple performance settings. My love of music and vocal versatility that allows me to perform early music, opera, art song, musical theatre, and contemporary pop singing. I also accompany on accoustic guitar, piano, or ukelele for contemporary settings.
I'd love to collaborate with you for your event!
Kaylee was absolutely AMAZING! For my wedding I ask her to sing My Destiny for my Unity Candle lighting. She has a beautiful voice and is a great guitarist. I am very pleased with the turn out and she's very kind. Couldn't have ask for a better singer. I highly recommend her!

What to Expect
My most important focus is what you and your audience want to hear. My goal as a singer is to provide a program that is inviting and enjoyable for all ages. Since I perform multiple genres, I will ask which genre you are looking for. Then we can talk specifics of songs, how long the program will be, accompaniment, payment, event specifics, etc.
Kaylee Gallagher is a mezzo-soprano based in Dayton, Ohio. She recently finished her Master of Music at McGill Universtiy. Kaylee has credited operatic roles such as Marcellina in Le nozze di Figaro, Dorabella in Cosi fan tutte, Tessa in The Gondoliers, Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro, Belinda in Dido and Aeneas, and La Maestra delle Novizie in Suor Angelica.
This past November, Kaylee gave a “stellar” and “energetic and tomboyish” portrayal of Jo March in Adamo’s Little Women (Montreal Rampagne and McGill Tribune). Under the baton of Maestro Christopher Larkin, Opera McGill’s production was streamed nation-wide across Canada and internationally on CBC Music. Miss Gallagher will be singing Eduige in Handel’s Rodelinda in her final production with Opera McGill. This summer, she will be returning to Jo March as a Young Artist with Nightingale Opera Theatre. She will be covering the role of Jo March and singing in the female quartet.
Kaylee has developed a vocal versatility that allows her to be comfortable in both a recital setting and the operatic stage. Her repertoire expands over various genres such as early music, musical theatre, opera, and contemporary singing. Her merited solo and academic awards include the McGill Graduate Excellence Fellowship, First place in the NATS Mid-South Regional competition, the Gold-prize winner of the Lee University Concerto Competition. Her concert experience includes singing as the Alto and Soprano II soloist in Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater, Haydn’s Missa Brevis in F, Ceremony of Carols by Benjamin Britten, Chichester Psalms by Leonard Bernstein, and various recordings for Chorister’s Guild.
As a lover of choral music, Kaylee has contributed as a member and soloist in major works with the Tennessee Chamber Chorus, Chattanooga Symphony and Opera Chorus, and Montreal groups Voces Boreales and The Church of St. Andrew and St. Paul. A particularly fond memory includes performing as a soloist on national television in the 57th Presidential Inauguration with the Lee Festival Chorus in Washington D.C.
In her spare time, Kaylee enjoys strumming her guitar or ukulele, spending time with her loved ones, and exploring her new hobby of cross-stitching.
