Katie Win, Cyr Wheel Artist

Katie is a dancer and circus artist originally hailing from small town NC. She received her BA in Dance Performance, Choreography, and Theory from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Soon after, she moved to Chicago to run away with the circus and completed the Actor’s Gymnasium Professional Training Program. There she fell in love with cyr wheel and found joy melding the discipline with her dancing. Since then she has had the privilege to perform with companies such as Yes Ma’am Circus at the CCPAF, CirquesExperience, and at Aloft’s Sanctuary as well as freelancing throughout the City of Chicago. Her most recent professional endeavor has taken form in the dynamic duo PasDeLusion and the creation of their show, Don’t Quit Your Daydream, which combines dance theater and contemporary circus arts.
