Professionalism:
You can expect the upmost professionalism from me. I respond within 24 hours and keep you posted on your upcoming gig. I clearly explain what you need to do on your end (such as create a separate space for the tarot readings, place loud speakers away from the readings, let guests know length of readings). I ask all the necessary questions in advance to make sure things go smoothly, such as
age groups I'll be reading for (I need to know if I'm reading for kids), how many people in how much time, and if you're willing to extend the time (usually this is possible as I rarely book 2 events back to back).

During the reading:
I ask you a few questions but it's always an option whether to answer or not. You're never required to share any personal information. I clarify that the cards simply pick up on energies but nothing is set in stone. The tarot cards are not crystal balls and they don't instruct you on what you should or shouldn't do. They advise and illuminate your situation and help you gain perspective.

Death: I do not predict literal death, but the reading can reveal figurative death/end of a situation or chapter in your life.

Birth & Pregnancy: I do not predict anyone giving birth or getting pregnant, but the cards may show a child/children coming into your life (for example, by adoption, fostering, dating someone who has kids, godchildren, or working with children.) Fertility is a theme on several of the cards and this can refer to birth of ideas or a fertile phase in your career.

What not to expect:
I never attempt to upsell my time or any products. I won't push you to extend your event, but I always allow for extra time after an event in case you choose to. I will never tell you there's a curse on you (I am trained to clear energies from homes and break curses but this is a separate service which I will never solicit at an event.) I will never tell you that you need to buy crystals or candles or other products or services from me. Before doing the reading, I may briefly describe what tarot cards are and how they work. This hopefully dispels any myths or relieves any fears you may have about tarot cards.

Travel & Deposit:
I have a car and I'm willing to travel outside of Montreal, however, if it's more than 50km outside of Greater Montreal, I will request a travel surcharge. All fees will be fully agreed upon before the event. The 50$ deposit guarantees your date. The deposit is applied to the final amount due. In the event of cancellation, the deposit will not be refunded but you can apply it to a future event or a personal tarot reading (online or in person).

Language:
Je parle français bien que je ne sois pas completement bilingue. Mon français est suffisant pour faire des lectures de tarot, c'est sûr. ☺️

Background:
I have been studying Tarot and clairvoyant/psychic development for decades. I've been using these skills professionally for 5 years. My tools include tarot decks, oracle cards, and the pendulum. I've taken multiple courses with renowned psychics (including Richard Knight, Nicky Alan, and Patti Negri), and I've obtained certifications in mediumship, tarot reading, and psychic development.

My Approach:
I use tarot cards, pendulums, and the 5 psychic senses to illuminate the path of my querent. I read into your energy and use the cards and my intuition to help you understand what is happening and why it's happening. I look into your past, present, and the near future (I generally don't read further than 2-3 years into the future). I also do past life readings.

Birth&Death:
Ethically, I will never give any predictions about birth (pregnancy), death, or serious illness. Even the best psychics are 85% accurate. Giving an inaccurate prediction about these things can cause undue stress. My job is not to frighten, worry, or stress my clients! I'm here to help you learn about yourself and your situation..and to have fun. 🤩

My Card Decks:
I seek out and collect beautiful and unique tarot and oracle decks. While all cards in a tarot decks contain the same 78 cards, each artist interprets them differently. Symbolism in art provides visuals to the card meanings and helps us understand them better. I always travel to events with multiple diverse decks so clients can 'feel' the deck that speaks to them for their reading.

Reading for Kids:
Children have a natural curiosity about divination and are often very drawn to tarot and oracle cards. As some decks can depict slightly darker images and/or (artistic) nudity, I carry decks that are more suitable for younger clients (5-12yrs).

Yoga & Sound Baths:
I've been teaching yoga since 2002 and guiding meditation for over 10 years. I have a collection of amazing instruments for a soothing sound bath (rain stick, flutes, chimes, singing bowls, rattles + I'm a trained singer). Relax into a guided meditation and sound bath in gentle restorative yoga poses. Combine this with tarot readings for an immersive spiritual party!

Learning Tarot:
I offer tarot card tutorials to all ages. This is especially popular with kids 10-15 (of course, my course for kids is simplified and lighter). I can also teach you how to do tarot readings (this requires a minimum of 3 hours for the Intro to Tarot course).

What I'm not:
I'm not the stereotypical fortune teller from the movies. I don't go overboard with costumes and props (except for Halloween! 🎃). I'm not gimicky or 'woowoo' unless it's requested for a themed event. I don't try to be mystical or mysterious (my yogi-hippie vibe is already like that anyway lol ). And while I'm categorized as 'party entertainment' ...and I definitely bring fun to your event!... my readings are genuine. 💜

Tarot and psychic readings are low tech! 🤩

The Reading Space:
A quiet-ish space is best but I understand parties are loud. I just need to be able to communicate without shouting. If I can concentrate, the readings will be much better. Please place me as far from the loud speakers as possible. If there is karaoke, it's best if readings are in a separate room or as far from the singers as possible as karaoke is especially loud. If the querent cannot hear me over the noise, I will have to to write the reading down which takes much longer. This reduces how many people can receive a reading in the allotted time.

Furniture:
I just need a table big enough to lay out the cards, and ideally, 2 chairs or a sofa. Having said that, I've done many events where I was on the floor or grass picnic style! This is fine too. If it's a group reading (where I do readings in front of everyone), then a sofa and chairs around a coffee table is great, or a dining room table we all sit around works too.

Lighting:
Ideally no fluorescent lighting. But also not total darkness either...I do need to see my cards (though I always bring tea lights and flameless candles). Calm, soothing lighting is great. However, I've gone into offices and hospitals for staff events where bright lighting was unavoidable. We do our best with what we have. 💜

Parking:
Please inform me of the parking situation beforehand. If there is no parking available and the venue is downtown Montreal, in Old Montreal, or in the Plateau of Montreal, I need to give myself extra time to find parking, or ride my bike or take Métro. If parking is valet or reserved spots only, please make arrangements in advance and inform me of the parking spot number. I'm willing to pay for street parking myself up to 10$. If parking will be over 10$, the surplus over 10$ will be added to your invoice.

Food & Beverage:
I'm often asked if it's OK if the querent has a drink during the reading. Of course! Just don't use my cards as a coaster. You're always welcome to eat or drink during the reading. Relax and have fun. That's what you're there for. I am happy to accept any food and drink you offer, but of course it's not an obligation on your part. I always bring a bottle of water or travel mug of tea for myself.

Payment & Tips:
If the event requires people to pay for their own readings (such as at psychic fairs and street events), I will bring my portable Square Debit machine. Of course, cash is always accepted too. Please let me know in advance if I should bring my debit machine. You can pay for the event via debit with my Square terminal, e-transfer, PayPal, or a credit card on my website. ☺️

Reason to terminate services before the event is over:
If I am excessively straining my vocal cords and/or my hearing is being damaged due to being placed directly under or directly beside very loud speakers, I retain the right to terminate my services if the event organizer refuses to relocate my table. In this event, I shall still receive full compensation. We can avoid this situation in advance by planning accordingly 🤗.
