About

Katie Hilborn is the Founder and Executive Director of Global Orphan Prevention and a "Millennial Changemaker of the Year" who has shared her story at events in America. As a natural storyteller, she captivates audiences through funny and exciting moments of walking pumas in the jungles of Bolivia, delivering aid during the Nepal earthquakes, to getting E. Coli in remote Asian villages, and anything in between.

She inspires audiences through analogy and life lessons that allow them to elevate their performance in sales, school, team environments, leadership, customer service, and more through the experience of shared connection, and finding a little piece of them in the art of story and imagination.

She can speak to both corporate and school events, and studies your industry and organizational culture to create a customized keynote that reinforces your event’s theme and feels personally relevant to each member of your audience.

FOR CORPORATE EVENTS:
Some of the top challenges affecting company culture include resistance to change, communication, rigid organizational structures, lack of commitment and reinforcement, and motivation. Her stories can be enjoyed across all mediums, and allows the audience to really dive into their own lives through analogy for better performance.

FOR SCHOOL EVENTS:
With increasing youth societal pressures of fitting in, bullying, self-esteem and body image, cyber addiction, and stress, it's no wonder that the next generation is seeing a rapid increase in suicide, depression, and anxiety. The emergence of technology has allowed us to communicate across the planet in ways we've never known before, but it's also left us feeling more isolated and unable to figure out our place within the world, and is preventing our youth from becoming the best version of themselves and achieving their goals.

Katie understands the pressures of life well, and as a former international teacher and has traveled to 28 countries on six continents, she has found a common thread amongst youth; the need to belong, to live a life of passion and purpose, and to leave the world a better place than it was given to them.
