Kathy Claus

Kathy Claus can interact and engage with children, seniors and special needs individuals. Reading stories, listening, posing for pictures, or doing activities such as simple crafts or cookie decorating are all options.

Before portraying Mrs. Claus, Kathy enjoyed teaching preschool and then counseling in the mental health field, with many of her clients being children.
Three years ago, Kathy was invited to visit a group of special needs adults as Mrs. Santa to deliver gifts. The experience was so special that she continues to volunteer in this capacity and to volunteer with an organization that connects Santas and Mrs. Claus characters with medically fragile or disabled children.
Kathy is a mother and grandmother in the Willamette Valley area.

Depending on the kind of event you are planning, Mrs. Claus will need chairs or a bench where children can sit with her to visit. Be sure that the place you have in mind for Mrs. Claus to be is conducive to good photos.
Mrs. Claus will need a designated parking place close by, and a phone number for the person in charge of the visit.
If you would like Mrs. Claus to hand out gifts, please have them clearly labeled. A list of names Mrs. Claus needs to know should be provided before the visit.
Weather conditions such as snow and ice may require rescheduling of an event.
