We contracted & paid for 2 people to come to our party. Only 1 arrived. She said the other one couldn't make it & she had only just found out. Not good.

Hi Eden, I’m extemely sorry for what happened yesterday. Unfortunately it was out of my hands, I found out as I was parking that she had to take her daughter to emergency. I was exretemely upset and disappointed as well, however I tried to accommodate doing two services that two people were suppose to do and it worked out well in the end . I will not be working with the other makeup artist in the future as she is not reliable . You had also hired us only for Makeup, and I was able to accommodate your request to do nail polish changes as well. Hope all is well, thank you .

For Brides:
I do live/in person consultation for brides. We can exchange texts/ emails and share pictures of looks that you want for your big day, but I always recommend having an in person consultation and trial. On the trial we do the makeup and we take an hour to discuss what changed you'd like to make or what you prefer.
I do charge for trials at least 50 % of what I charge for my bridal makeup fee.
After agreeing upon the makeup, we discuss details about the wedding, location, and traveling fees.
We also discuss how many people will be involved for makeup.
I then fill out a contract and send it to client to have it filled out, to hold their date and ask for a 50% deposit of the services. The deposit is usually non-refundable if they cancel within a week of the wedding. It's to ensure for me to not double book or have someone else take your date.
I use professional products that are hypoallergenic and long-wearing. They are also perfect for your pictures that will last a lifetime.
