Karen Michaels is a talent powerhouse. Her shows are terrific. I particularly enjoyed hearing her sing standards and Broadway tunes recently, but she does it all. I have lived and worked in Las Vegas for over 15 years, and in that time, I have rarely seen a musician as versatile, motivated, easy to work with, and vibrant. Karen is a triple threat because she plays piano, sings, and acts. That makes her an outstanding "one-woman band" for all occasions, but I have also seen with her trios, big bands, and more. She has a gorgeous voice, a great range, a bubbly personality, a stellar repertoire, and a terrific sensibility about song choices and appropriate patter during her shows. I remember when I first heard Karen, singing in a prestigious, high-end restaurant on the Las Vegas strip. Everyone around was saying "That voice belongs on Broadway!" It is so true. I am happy to see that her career has since grown by leaps and bounds. I had no doubt! Yet she remains humble and consistent, whether she is playing a restaurant or a theater or a stadium. I had the absolute honor to hear Karen perform at a hotel & casino in Las Vegas, NV! She was absolutely incredible. I was blown away by her powerful vocals and the girl's energy knows no end! She was bubbly and had a wonderful personality. But beyond that, her voice is truly stunning and enjoyable to listen to! I would attend any event she was performing at. What an amazing talent!

Needing someone to play piano and sing for an evening, my company hired Karen after talking with others that had worked with her. Her reputation proceeded herself. She did a fantastic job and lived up to what they all stated about her! Her piano and vocals skills were excellent and she performed a great mix of songs for our event. People from the audience asked us where we had found her because they were so impressed. Even when the event had to move to another room, she picked up her gear and started from where she left off for the remainder of the event. I would strongly encourage anyone that needs entertainment for their party, event, or professional gig to consider Karen. She was on time, dressed professionally, played and performed up to date music as well as standards, and all around was easy to work with and made the clients happy. I would hire her again! She is a strong talent with a GREAT voice.

I was lucky enough to hire Karen Michaels for a corporate show for one of my big medical clients in San Diego. With very little prep or rehearsal (due to some technical problems the site was having), Karen came in and won the client over with her incredible voice and audience interaction. The client was so pleased they asked for her in 2010 but she was already booked. She came in with a great attitude, was considerate to everyone and her voice and ranger were impressive.
