Overview

Based in Madison, Wisconsin, with musical influences from Chicago and Ireland, Kara Rogers delights audiences with the driving rhythms and haunting melodies native to traditional Irish music played on the concertina. Kara is available as a soloist, as part of Tit For Tat (with her two sons on fiddle), The Lilies of the Midwest, or The Currach.

In addition to Irish music, Kara plays electric bass with the cover band Turning Point, out of Verona, WI.
