My name is Kaleb A.K.A. Kaldrumz. I'm a Houston native who has been playing drums constantly since he was 2 years old. I quickly became involved in playing gospel at church and continued absorbing soul, R&B and blues in addition to gospel. I am a accomplished singer as well as a drummer and is trained in various percussion instruments, notably marimba and xylophone. During my musical journey he has toured around Texas with various bands, among them Heavens Republic and Brewed Soul, while continuing to play in the Houston music scene at venues like Warehouse Live.
My musical influences include Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, James Brown, Michael Jackson, Jazmine Sullivan, Lalah Hathaway, Chris Brown, Chester D.T. Baldwin, Darlene Bonner, Brian Courtney Wilson, TheBiggestBrandon and Ahmir K. Thompson, aka Questlove – the drummer and joint frontman for the hip-hop band the Roots.
Ever since I was a child, music has always been a second home to me, and if I had nothing I always had the drums. It has been my lifelong dream to live off of drumming as my career and I'm willing to put in the work to make my dreams a reality.
