Overview
Kalalea, the premier fire dance company in Hawaii produces a wide variety of exquisite events. Our ohana of incredible performers have produced hundreds of world class fire shows and events. Kalalea dancers have performed at stadium concerts, corporate events, festivals, clubs and weddings internationally and throughout the Hawaiian Islands. Kalalea currently offers two dance troupes on the islands of Oahu and Kauai. There are over 20 costumes and show themes to choose from, photos are available in the costume section of our website.

A member of Kalalea was our performer for a one-off dinner show I hosted.
Her routine was clear and enjoyable and her variety and technical proficiency was very impressive. It was her enthusiasm and sheer enjoyment that really made us all love the show. It's hard to keep a group ranging in age from 13 years old to 45 years old entertained, but she did it with gusto.
Big kudos to Kalalea!
TL:DR; She was prompt, professional, her setup was safe and controlled, and her show and flow was amazing! I absolutely recommend hiring this group; 6 out of 5!

September 19, 2013The Dead show Live at Shoreline
The Dead playing Shoreline is a bit like the circus coming to town. Even the post-Jerry Garcia editions of the band have come around often enough now to create a dependable ritual - thrills, spills, acrobats, high-wire acts and, always, plenty of clowns. But who would have expected the highlight of this year's version to be the drum solo with lady flame dancers straight out of Burning Man? Yowza.

I have had the good fortune to work with these girls on several events, including hiring them to create a one of a kind performance for the 2010 Gathering of the Vibes' Rhythm Devils show and The Dead's '09 concert at Shoreline Amphitheater, where the dancers performed for 20K cheering Deadheads with out missing a beat. They are professional and easy to work with. I look forward to working with them in the near future.

I am fortunate to have enjoyed Kalalea Fire's performances on several occassions, most notably during drums and space at The Dead's show in California. The costumes are amazing. The dancers are beautiful as well as talented. Theirs shows always thrill and fulfill their audiences with wonder and delight.

Kalalea produces shows that range from a simple solo vignette to a 6 dancer fire extravaganza. Our shows are flexible, we have performed everywhere from stadium stages to beach weddings. Our performers are known for their skill, beauty, strength and fun stage presence.
In addition to providing your guests with a dazzling, high energy show: our team will do the initial consultations, site check, provide sound if necessary, insurance and safety technicians.

Our event production team have coordinated shows that range from a solo Samoan fire knife dancer, a stadium main stage fire show to a ten day celebrity wedding complete with multiple acts, bands, themed parties, AV, location and production services.

Main Stage Fire or LED Show- The highlight of any event, 2-6 fire dancers enthrall audiences with their split second timing, accuracy, partner fire dancing and graceful choreography.
Roaming Performers- Whether you are seeking a multi-talented cast or a single performer for ambiance at your event the Kalalea ohana of performers includes; aerialists, acrobats, African drummers, ballerinas, belly dancers, body painters, burlesque, break dancers, capoeira, cirque, characters, Elvis, face painters, go-go dancers, hoop dancers, hula shows, jugglers, led light shows, luaus, musicians, Samoan fire knife, singing telegrams, stilt walkers, Tahitian drumming/dance, torch lighting ceremonies.
Kalalea has produced entertainment for corporate events as well as movies, TV, music videos, concerts, festivals and weddings.
