Kaila River - Fun, Intuitive Tarot + Astrology Readings

Guests can expect to have fun, feel comfortable, and leave with something meaningful to think about. My readings are positive and empowering rather than fear-based. If the cards or astrology bring up something worth considering, I’ll share it honestly while keeping the message constructive and encouraging.

I want guests to leave thinking, “That was so much fun!” or “Wow, I really needed to hear that!”

I bring a combination of intuition, experience, humor, and genuine empathy to every event. I also explain what I’m doing along the way, so guests who are new to tarot or astrology feel comfortable.

🔮 Tarot Readings
Tarot is a fun, interactive addition to parties and events because each guest gets a personal experience. I offer 1:1 readings or readings done in a small-group setting for group sizes that are 15 people or less.

We can jump right into 1:1 or couples readings for large gatherings. For smaller group sizes I can optionally give guests a quick introduction to tarot before we begin, if desired. My style is intuitive, conversational, and encouraging like “let’s see what the cards have to say.” No doom and gloom!

🌙 Astrology Readings
For smaller group sizes, I can begin with an easy-to-understand introduction to astrology before exploring individual birth charts. Then we'll explore more about their personality, strengths, relationships, and life themes through the charts.

⏰ Reading Length & Guest Flow
Reading length depends on your guest count, booking time, and desired format. For example, with a 2-hour booking and approximately 20–25 guests, tarot readings are typically around 5 minutes per person. For larger events, I cannot guarantee that every guest will receive an individual reading.

If you’d like guests to have more time with me, I recommend booking additional hours whenever possible. I’m happy to help determine the best setup and timing for your group.

📱 Day of Your Event
I’ll text you on the day of your event and plan to arrive approximately 15–20 minutes early to get set up.

Having a great time and want me to stay longer? I’m usually happy to extend the booking if my schedule allows! Additional time can be arranged in 30-minute or hourly increments for the same quoted rate. Payments can be made by Cash, Venmo, CashApp, or Check.

🍂 Planning Ahead
Fall and winter are my busiest seasons, especially around the holidays, so I recommend booking early if you have a specific date in mind. I’m always happy to check whether I can accommodate additional time or a last-minute request, but during busy seasons my schedule may already be booked.

💚 Reiki & Chakra Energy Healing
Mini energy-healing sessions designed to help guests relax, reset, and reconnect with themselves.

🍫 Cacao Ceremony
An introduction to cacao and its traditional cultural roots in Mexico and Latin America, followed by guided meditation and a shared experience centered around connection and opening the heart.

🥁 Drumming Sound Bath
A grounding, cleansing experience where I will bring my drum and each participant will receive a drumming treatment to expell stagnant energy out of the body.

💎 Crystal Party Favors
Small gold drawstring pouches containing tumbled crystals can be provided for an additional $10–$15 per pouch, depending on availability and selection. Options may include crystals associated with grounding, protection, confidence, self-expression, calming energy or a combination. Medium and larger crystals are also be available.

🌿 Sananga & Breathwork Experience
Sananga, an Amazonian plant sap, is applied to the eyes and is traditionally used as a cleansing practice for the eyes and sinuses. It cleanses the eyes and sinuses of parasites, bacteria, and anything that doesn't need to be there. It temporarily causes intense burning, like getting hot chili in your eyes, so this experience requires advance planning and signed waivers. This experience pairs well with a drumming soundbath, cacao ceremony, and/or Reiki & chakra healing.

Setup Requirements:
The only setup requirements I have are a well-lit space and, preferably, an area that isn’t directly next to large speakers. This helps ensure we can easily hear each other and that guests can enjoy their readings without interference.

I’ll also need a table and 2–3 chairs, which allows for 1:1 readings as well as couples or friends who may want to sit together. If you don’t have a table and chairs available, no problem! I can bring them with advance notice — just let me know when booking so I can plan accordingly.

I’ll bring a cream colored tablecloth for the reading table. If you have a specific aesthetic you’d like to match for your event and my tablecloth won't fit the look, please provide a tablecloth that coordinates with your event decor.

I also have optional decor that I can bring for the reading table, including crystals and a small display sign. For Halloween or witchy-themed events, I have additional seasonal decor available, such as a sparkly light-up skull crystal ball (whimsical and fun not scary — it has a light-up snow-globe-like effect) and a spiderweb table runner. If you have a specific theme or aesthetic in mind, just let me know and I’m happy to coordinate the table setup.

I have a few different outfit options to match the vibe of your event, including a classic fortune-teller aesthetic (as seen in the photos), a witchy outfit with a hat, or something more casual, polished, or business-appropriate. If you have a specific dress code, theme, or aesthetic in mind, just let me know and I’ll do my best to coordinate.
