Katisha Jallow, professionally known as J-LOW, is a licensed talent agent, creative strategist, and retired U.S. Army veteran with over 23 years of leadership experience. She is the founder of K Luv Culture™, a global talent management and consulting agency specializing in artist development, live entertainment, and creative staffing across music, lifestyle, and culture.

Through K Luv Culture, Katisha represents and develops artists like IBlack Lion, delivering authentic reggae and culturally driven performances for festivals, private events, and corporate audiences. Her approach blends structure, strategy, and creativity to ensure high-quality, professional experiences for every client.

With a background in music business, entrepreneurship, and coaching, Katisha is committed to helping artists grow while creating meaningful, engaging entertainment that connects with diverse audiences.

Beyond entertainment, she is the Founder and Executive Director of the California Suicide Prevention Network (CALISPN), supporting mental health awareness and community empowerment.

Driven by purpose, professionalism, and culture, Katisha continues to build platforms that elevate talent and create lasting impact through music and live experiences.

Technical requirements vary depending on the performance setup (solo, duo, or full band), but we aim to remain flexible and easy to accommodate.

For most performances, we require:
• Standard PA system suitable for the venue size
• At least 1–2 vocal microphones (wireless preferred)
• AUX or DI input for backing tracks (if needed)
• Basic stage lighting for evening events

For full band performances:
• Full PA system with mixer and monitors
• Microphones for vocals and instruments
• Drum kit (or space to set up if provided by artist)
• Adequate stage space for band setup

Additional Notes:
• Sound check or line check is preferred prior to performance
• Power access must be available near performance area
• Setup time varies (typically 15–45 minutes depending on setup)

Influences and inspiration

K Luv Culture artist IBlack Lion draws inspiration from legendary and modern reggae artists who have shaped the sound and message of the culture. Influences include Bob Marley & The Wailers, Peter Tosh, Dennis Brown, and Burning Spear, along with contemporary artists like Chronixx, Protoje, and Kabaka Pyramid. In addition, most comparision on style of music aligns very well to Jah Cure.

We are also influenced by producers and musicians who have contributed to reggae’s global impact, blending roots, culture, and modern elements to create music that is both timeless and relevant.
