KENIECE uses written word to take you on a journey...through your pains...through your joys. Her wordplay seeps deep into your soul awakening your spirt, demanding that your mind take heed.

There's a proverb that says, "it takes a village to raise a child," this reigns true for KENIECE. Born in Frostproof, Florida, raised between Orlando and Plant City, Florida.

Her humbled beginnings steamed from playing on sports teams, to volunteering in her community, and family vacations across the country. From an early age she knew her inspiration was life and people, yet life lessons would yield wisdom from experiences, which she creatively expresses in her art.

From poetry, spoken word, composition of a song, creative artistic expression or community service; her words inspire and encourage you to purpose in your life, providing comfort to you in your time of need. Through performance, you feel the words come alive through expressions of the heart and intellectual mind evoking thought and awareness regarding social climate. Her words celebrate life’s greatest experiences love and family.

Keniece graduated from Hamilton and Holt Rollins College with a BA in Organizational Behavior and a minor in Writing. Overtime, Keniece learned to value and nurture her gifts of writing and expression while adding her business mind in the equation; after years of rejecting, discarding work, and bombing in front of judges at an oratory competition. Her solution has equal to full time entrepreneur.

Keniece uses her passion of written word to express many things about life. In the words of the great Maya Angelou, “If you don’t like something, change it!” Keniece will be the change we need … using her passion for written word to shine a light on this dimly lit path … one performance at a time.
