Overview
K4TGR4M is an Edmonton-based songwriting duo blending Pop, R&B, Hip-Hop, and Folk influences. Their music creates a warm, soulful atmosphere rooted in unity and togetherness. Known for performances at weddings, private events, and throughout Edmonton’s restaurant and bar scene, they’ve gained recognition for their heartfelt sound. They have collaborated with JUNO winner Glenn Morrison and participated in the TD Music Residency (Aug 2025). Inspired by shared experiences of love and loss, they are developing their debut EP for 2026. With K4T’s smooth, soulful tone and GR4M’s refined vocals and rap elements, K4TGR4M deliver a signature sound unique to Edmonton.

About
K4TGR4M is the Edmonton-based music duo of Kathryn Johnson (K4T) and Angelo Guzman (GR4M), partners in both life and art. Blending Pop, R&B/Soul, Folk-Pop, and light Hip-Hop influences, their sound is warm, emotional, and deeply rooted in connection. With smooth harmonies, soulful vocals, and a focus on storytelling, K4TGR4M creates music that feels intimate, heartfelt, and communal.
The duo has become a familiar presence across Edmonton’s live-music scene, performing at weddings, private events, festivals, markets, and throughout the city’s bar and restaurant circuit. Known for their inviting atmosphere and polished sound, they’ve built a reputation for sets that feel cozy, uplifting, and deeply human.
K4TGR4M has collaborated with JUNO Award–winning artist Glenn Morrison and were selected for MacEwan University’s TD Music Artist-in-Residence Program (August 2025), where they further developed their songwriting and production. Drawing from shared experiences—including the loss of a parent and the birth of their daughter—they channel themes of love, grief, resilience, and family into their writing.
Currently, K4TGR4M is developing their debut EP, slated for release in 2026. With K4T’s raspy, emotional tone and GR4M’s refined vocals and rhythmic sensibility, the duo delivers a signature sound that feels “uniquely Edmonton”: soulful, warm, and rooted in community.
