Justin Banks is a speaker, podcaster, and “anxiety survivor.” Diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder in 2016, Justin has had to do the work to manage his illness, but also use his disorder to find purpose and to help others. Purpose has allowed him to speak locally and nationally, as well as being highlighted as The National Alliance on Mental Illness’ Leader Lens Recipients for 2023. Justin speaks for and motivates those who are marginalized, and educates those who are hurt on how to heal. As speaker and creator of The Pain to Power Podcast, Justin speaks on taking control of one’s mental health, while also using wellness and self-discovery to encourage growth, healing and joy. Justin has accepted the role of helping others overcome anxiety so they can confidently fulfill their life’s purpose, while also helping those who want to turn their affliction into achievement.
