Bio: JustDeeDeeMuisc
A local musician born and raised in Northeast Ohio, who plays acoustic guitar, keyboard, and sings lead vocals. Growing up with music was a huge part of DeeDee’s life. Her dad would play 70's country music nonstop in the car, while she listened to Rock n Roll, mostly Elvis, with her mom. As she continued to listen to both country and rock, she was drawn to a variety of music from the 80’s which has advanced through the decades to the current music of today.
The songs DeeDee play reflect on those years and continue through the present. Her musical calling started at the young age of 5 on the organ with lessons at 8. When she was 10, she took up the brass, learning trombone playing through high school. Guitar has been an on and off affair for DeeDee since the 90's. Around 2020 she decided to finally get serious and fell in love with a Taylor GS mini guitar. After many hours of practice, live performances and meeting local musicians, she realized that sharing my music with others over the last 40 years is what really completes her.
Today DeeDee performs live at venues across Northeast Ohio and beyond. Specializing in an acoustic blend of rock, pop, country, and folk cover songs. Performances that engage the crowd through a combination of familiar tunes and energetic, emotional renditions which draws an enthusiastic audience.
