Insurance: $3,000,000 - Covered for Face Painting and Balloon Twisting with Bomba Insurance Company.

What to expect

I will arrive at your event at least 30 minutes prior to start time. I generally wear a neutral outfit of all black, or Khaki and black. For Holidays I will add theme wear. If your event calls for something special I can usually accommodate. I do NOT like to dress as a clown, since I have found so many people terribly freaked out by them! Unless the weather is horribly hot and humid, I will paint my face as soon as I set up. I paint designs rather quickly, most under 3 minutes. 20 people per hour is a good estimate. 30 minutes before the end of the event, I will close my line by telling the people in the line that they are my final designs. If a client wants to add time to the event, I am usually fine with that unless I have a second job soon after. I try to be flexible.
WATER PROOF PAINT: For pool parties or high humidity days, I can offer a water-proof paint, for a slightly higher price.
BLACK LIGHT PAINT: Skating parties, Raves, and other events featuring UV light are perfect for offering special paint that glows!

About

My name is Laurel Alford. I am 59 years old, and live in Newnan Georgia. I routinely travel up to 2 hours for a job, provided that the compensation accounts for travel time. I do face painting/balloon twisting as a full-time income.
FACE PAINTING; All of the painting gigs I go on have happy parents making comments like, "That is so good, and it was FAST!" "You are the best painter we have ever had!" Now, in explanation, I do good designs that the kids love... and I do them under 3 minutes each... so that I can really move a line at a large event. I do NOT paint high-end grand art that takes 10-15 minutes each.
I routinely embellish my girl designs with glitter and custom make gem clusters. The girls go NUTS over BLING!
BALLOONS: The most common comment I hear at every job is, "I have NEVER SEEN such great balloons!" Far more than the typical swords, dogs and flowers.... I enjoy making custom sculptures for each child. In addition I can make LARGE special centerpieces.

Additional booking notes

I provide my own paints. Unless otherwise discussed, the client will provide the space, and chairs. I do not require a table.
Additional fee is charged if I must provide my own pop up canopy.

Both paint and balloons are weather sensitive. I will need to be placed in an area out of direct sun, wind, and NEVER in front of the DJ speakers! (I need to hear the kids!)
