Darin provided a great evening of music, fun and laughter. His ability to play most anything from country to classic rock, including some of his own songs, provided a wonderful evening of listening pleasure for everyone. He enjoyed taking requests and even if he did not know a particular song, he was still able to play a song of the artist being requested. As you looked across the venue while he played, you would see people singing along, laughing and smiling, and sometimes just see an overall look of happiness on their faces.

Known for wide variety and friendly, interactive, musical excellence. Hi, my name is Darin. I play a lot of private events, and I've done so for years. I know tons of cover songs from many eras and genres and I love taking requests. Though the interactive thing is my favorite, I've also done many events where they just wanted background music while people visit. I've also done events where I was the the transition music between scheduled speakers or presentations. I'm fine with doing those things too, just let me know your expectations. Just Plain Darin is a singer/ songwriter and solo, acoustic artist that has graced the stages of the Pacific Northwest for over 20 years. He offers up a combination of smoky, soulful vocals and tasty guitar lines. His eclectic list of original and cover tunes reflects a vast array of influences including jazz, blues, funk, soul, rock, pop and country.
Darin has an appealing stage presence, a gifted sense of humor and a knack for meaningful interaction with his audience.
Additional booking notes
I supply all P.A. and lighting needs.
I will need a dedicated 15 amp circuit that is not shared with catering, AV or kitchen staff.
If the event is outside, I will need a cover to shade from the sun or light rain.
If the performance space is on the lawn, I will need a flat and rigid piece of plywood or equivalent covered with carpet.
