My name is Jay Regan sometimes performing under the name Just Jay. I play cover material from the 60s to present day. My set list includes people friendly tunes everyone can sing along to and the occasional gem from artist that may not be as well known but are engaging. I often get comments that my song list is very eclectic since I jump around from rock to R&B, blues to country, modern rock to oldies, and back.
I have been performing solo and in bands for over 20 years. I am professional, entertaining and affordable and look forward to performing ever chance I get. I can play non amplified or incorporate electronic drums and backing tracks for a more fuller sound.

March 23, 2014I hired Just Jay for my wife's 50th birthday. Just Jay was just right. He is a talented, engaging artist. He has a broad range of songs and performs them all very well. The guests really enjoyed him.
He was very responsive and flexible throughout the planning of the event. Very easy to work with to make sure the event went off just right. Just Jay even learned my wife's favorite song before the event.
The entire experience was very positive, all around. I'd recommend Just Jay for any similar event.

August 14, 2013I recently hired Jay to perform at my mom's 50th Birthday Party and had a completely positive experience. From the time I contacted him until he entertained at the party, he was responsive and professional. I had no worries about the music part of the party, and he delivered. All 50 of the guests thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment. Jay was fun, laid back and really added to the atmosphere for our event!

Although I primarily play as a soloist with acoustic guitar, I also play harmonica and sometimes incorporate foot drums or drum machine. To add more flexibility I sometimes play with either a upright bass player or second guitarist. I play rock/R&B cover music from the 60s to present day and can also incorporate original music. I like to think I can tailor my performance to the event and the crowd, and of course I am family friendly. I am professional, provide updates, answer calls and emails and will arrive on time.
Jay Regan is a Philadelphia area singer-songwriter and guitarist who has released two original music albums and also plays live music in a verity of venues. Along with his original music, he has a repertoire of close to 200 songs by popular recording artists and bands from the 60’s to present day. His repertoire covers multiple genres but can be classified mainly as classic rock, rock, alt-country, easy listening, R&B, and a few standards. Jay can tailor his music to your setting and will provide up to 4 hours of entertainment. I also have a four piece band called Jay & the Jury.
I am open and accommodating I usually only need a power outlet if I am to be amplified.I have played performance without amplification. For outdoor performances some sort of shade is a nice addition.
