Before booking I need all event details, contact information and location of event. I will be in contact with you or host before hand to get all needed information and send you my personalized event checklist.
When I arrive to bartend an event, I show up 1-2 hours before my services start. When I arrive I unload, unpack and set up. I make sure beverages are on ice, and my work space is clean, set up and organized. During your event, I try to keep lines short and guests are happy. After your event, I pack up and clean up my space.
To keep lines at the bar short, I recommend have 1 bartender per 75 guests or if you are requesting speciality cocktails since those take extra time.
I also require you to have barback if you have kegs if beer, for more efficient service and to keep lines short.
I started Just a Girl and Her Bar in 2018. I first started with the black mobile bar that my boyfriend built for me. I now I have a brown mobile bar that I have available for rent during events. Both mobile bars come apart and fit nicely in my mini van.
Fast forward to 2019: I have booked a total of 44 events since May 2018.
I love seeing happy couples on their big day and although we specialize in weddings, we will also bartend any event type!
For frozen drinks or unlimited coffee, an outlet and/or extension cord is required.
For outdoor events, a covered shelter from sun and rain is required.
Outlet and/or extension cord is required for frozen drinks and unlimited coffee/tea.
For keg service, a barback is required (we do not provide keg handling: moving or icing kegs when they arrive).
Trash can/recycling bin is very helpful.
