I play tiki-style music . . . electric and acoustic guitar classic hits with plenty of “beach songs“ to create an island vibe. I play a wide variety of the fun songs that people love to sing along with, from rock to folk to reggae to county and more.
Sometimes I will play as a great soundtrack to a perfect outing. And when the mood is right, I encourage audience participation . . . with sing-alongs as well as guest percussion players and singers, making for a truly memorable experience.
I AM A SNOWBIRD! I play in Southern Florida from October through April and in Central Michigan from May through September.

Jim was prompt, professional and communicative throughout the booking process. He reached out a week before the event for our song preference and showed up early to the venue to set up.
Throughout our reception, he played all the hits and was very accommodating to our requests. Everyone had a fantastic time and it seriously felt like we had a 4 piece band there but it was all Jim!
Absolutely recommend Jim, we would book him in a heartbeat the next time we are in Orlando.

December 12, 2025Jim performs several times per year aboard Muskegon's 150 passenger tour boat Aquastar during our Lake Michigan sunset cruises. He is a skilled musician and a crowd favorite.
