I’m Julie Paradies, violinist.
You can hire solo violin, duo, trio or quartet as the Paradies Ensemble.
Couples have said my music is “amazing” and I’m “extremely easy to work with.” I’ve played as a featured soloist with many orchestras from a young age.

We had Julie as our violinist at our wedding ceremony. She was amazing from the beginning! She met with me over the phone and discussed all of the important songs I wanted which she ended up knowing, but offered to learn the song if she didn’t already know how to play it. What to expect
I’m Julie, and I've played the violin 🎻 since I was 7 thanks to my mother, a public elementary school music teacher. I’ve played as a virtuoso soloist with orchestras since that young age.
I love playing at weddings because they’re all unique!
Why is it spelled Paradies? It’s my husband Jim’s last name, and it means paradise in German! Jim plays the trumpet. 🎺
As The Paradies Ensemble we’ve played together as an ensemble for over 25 years—working on intonation, vibrato, and other techniques to create a unified sound. We have performed at hundreds of concerts, recitals, musical shows and weddings in the Hudson Valley of New York State before relocating to Pinellas County, Florida.
You can hire me as a solo violinist, or along with my colleagues as a string quartet, string trio, or string duo.

Julie is the Concertmaster of 2 orchestras— the Suncoast Symphony and the Pinellas Community Orchestra (aka Anona Community Orchestra), which brings music to the residents of nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
At your wedding or other event, you contract us for one hour, but it’s one and a half hours of our time, because we arrive for set-up 30 minutes before the start of the Prelude music. Rest assured that we will check in with the officiant so that everything runs smoothly. We’ll play your choice of music, for example Canon in D, A Thousand Years, All You Need Is Love, etc.
We have over 25 years experience, so trust us with the details!

Julie Paradies - violin
We can play at your event as a solo violin, duo, trio, or quartet— all strings, or with trumpet, piano or harp.
Julie is Concertmaster of 2 orchestras: the Anona Church Community Orchestra and the Suncoast Symphony, and she also plays with the Tampa Bay Symphony.
Julie has been hired to play in musical shows with Eight O’Clock Theatre, Tamparep, freeFallTheatre and American Stage. THIS SPRING 2026 Julie is playing in the pit of American Stage’s Park production of Stephen Sondheim’s Into The Woods thru April 26, 2026. (link hidden)
