As a soloing violinist, I will come prepared with everything I need to perform beautiful music: my instrument, music scores, and the proper sound system. All I ask of you is to provide adequate details of your venue and event: is it indoor/outdoor; will there be another sound tech/DJ available; in the event of forecast changes, will I be provided shade (for a warm sunny day) or a canopy/gazebo (in the event that there will be rain?).
Hi! You’ve come across my GigSalad page. Here’s a little intro about me. My name is Julie, I am a soloing violinist. I’ve been in the wedding/gig industry since I was 12 years old. I’ve studied violin and piano, and pursued a music degree from CSUS. Performing has always been a huge part of my musical career, and I’m always thrilled and honored to be able to share your special moments with you on your big day! Reach out to schedule your next event, big or small, and I look forward to being a part of it!
As a soloing violinist, I will bring my own equipment, however I do ask that these things be provided, or at the very least, communicated to me before booking your event;
1. Is there a sound tech/DJ available?
2. Depending on the forecast, will I be provided shade and/or a canopy in the event that it rains?
3. Will there be a flexible drop off/unloading zone to park at?
4. What is the parking situation like at your event?
5. Will the event be indoors/outdoors?
6. If the event is indoors, Is there adequate lighting? If the room is dark, I will need to be provided some form of light (an attachment light (or bug-eye lights), or a standing light/lamp; if stage-lights or projector lights are available, depending on the venue and setup, those would work too.
Although I have a list of songs that’s accumulated over the years, I am always welcome to suggestions of song preferences for your big day!
Most of my music consists of a mix of classical, contemporary/lyrical, some jazz, and a few fun movie scores.
