Overview
I am a solo pianist offering a variety of services including but not limited to:
classical piano performances with a large range of repertoire (chopin, beethoven, bach, scarlatti, etc.), original piano compositional performances, piano lessons, and piano accompaniment. My solo acts typically take place in settings such as weddings, parties, concert venues, graduations, churches, and recital halls. However, I am very flexible and am open to any performance related commisions. I'm in ownership of a portable studio grand keyboard that I travel with but am comfortable in utilizing instruments provided at the performance location.

July 27, 2019Amazing Talent and Great Attention To Detail!
Julian Veney has wowed me with many videos of his stylish piano performances. His swift switches between keys and body movement can't convince me of anything other than how into the music he is. It helps me (and I'm sure the audience) escape with him. All of that said, it is a different experience to perform with him. Julian was great at coordinating the mechanics, movement and techniques of our piece so it all looked smooth as a final product, not to mention his work ethic. He had us spend a massive amount of time practicing our piece and would not stop until it was perfect. You can tell this is what he puts in everytime he performs, wether it be pieces to be later posted on Youtube and other sites, or more serious recitals and commissions.

Price range: Performances $50/hour, lessons $1/minute

What to expect
Any potential client may first of all expect clear communication when in the process of setting up a gig with me. Total cooperation is guaranteed on my part should someone choose to utilize my services. You can expect a quote from me if it is your first time booking me for a gig with a clear range of fees. If there is any specific music you would like for me to perform being vocal about this at least a month in advance will guarantee your musical wishes are met. As for public appearance, you can expect apparel that is appropriate for the occasion (casual, business casual, professional attire etc.). Any and all specific instruction on how to make your event the most meaningful is welcome and encouraged.
About
Julian Veney is a solo pianist specializing in concert and compositional performance. He has studied piano for over 10 years and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Music at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where he is a student at the UNCG School of Music. Veney is a 2-time grand prize winner of the Omega Psi Phi Talent Hunt Competition for Young Musicians where he competed on a regional and state level in North Carolina. In his personal life he is an active member of his church and enjoys drawing and pet sitting in his spare time.
Additional booking notes
Any and all sound equipment needed for an event should be provided by the event planner. As for staging and lighting, as long as I can see my keyboard and my sheet music any environment is fine.
