Julia Grissett

This review isn’t based on how Julia performs because we never got that far. This is about Julias lack of response and stress she had added while trying to plan for our wedding. I had thought based on reviews that Julia would be a great option and before we actually booked she was very responsive. Unfortunately that’s not what we were met with after we booked with her. About a month after booking, I had sent a message asking what steps she likes to take moving forward. Julia had opened but never responded to that message. Giving the benefit of the doubt I sent an additional message asking if email or text would be easier. This message and two additional messages were never opened. After that I had reached out to Gigsalad about a full refund due to $100 being “non-refundable” if you cancel. Gigsalad stated they need to reach out first and after a few weeks of working with gigsalad, she had never responded to them or me and a full refund was given. I’m grateful for the help of gigsalad but very frustrated with having to go through all of this when we thought our violinist was one less stressor off of our plates. I wouldn’t book with Julia, because this could be you, weeks out from your wedding date left without a violinist with no warning or word from her.

Julia arrived on time and played beautiful music throughout the ceremony. She was professional, efficient and knew exactly what to do. We received compliments from the family for her music. I would definitely recommend and happily book her again!

Julia was wonderful. Everything in the ceremony went as perfectly as we could have imagined!

Julia was great! She played some awesome covers of specific songs we wanted for our wedding ceremony, and was super responsive. Would absolutely recommend :)
