Overview
JT’s Island Steel is Phoenix’s premier steel drum band, performing on Trinidad steel pans. JT performs often as a soloist, duo, trio, or group as large as 8 to 10 players.
Perfect for any island-style party whether it’s a backyard or large, corporate event. We play a mix of Caribbean hits along with popular Reggae and Calypsos. And of course , we play lots of Jimmy Buffett and Bob Marley.

We hired the large steel drum band to play at our 30th anniversary party because we got married in St. Lucia and wanted that island vibe. They were so amazing and it was so special. We even had a big conga line going. These musicians are really talented and professional.

What to expect
JT’s Island Steel performs Live Island music. Island Steel feels comfortable playing as a solo duo or any size needed and consists of seasoned players who have worked with JT throughout the years.
Members show up early and are dressed appropriately for the event. Members are responsible for providing our own sound equipment.
Island Steel can easily capture the fancy of your guests (both young and old). Island Steel will perform Caribbean classics and a mix of Latin, pop, and reggae tunes to set a cool relaxed Island feel. Our ISLAND' style will create a hip and elegant vibe that is perfect for listening or dancing.
