JP is a versatile and dynamic violinist with over 15 years of experience, performing at numerous weddings, corporate events, restaurants, and concert stages throughout the Greater Toronto Area and abroad. Some of his performance highlights include a solo center stage at Scotiabank Arena (Former Air Canada Center) in front of a crowd of 20,000+ for We Day Toronto 2012, being featured as a soloist internationally in China and Europe as a member of the Ontario Youth Orchestra and the Canadian Sinfonietta Youth Orchestra, a live televised appearance for the Miss Chinese Toronto Pageant at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, and more. Currently, JP is the resident violinist at Bar Maaya - a cocktail bar in downtown Toronto - on Saturday evenings.. Outside of performing at events, he is also a teacher at the Hamilton Suzuki School of Music, and plays for Sinfonia Ancaster as the first chair, as well as for the Toronto Pops Orchestra.

Jun combines his intensive classical training with the skill of learning and improvising over pieces completely by ear - in order to provide a musical experience that elevates any event and occasion. His repertoire ranges from pop, rock, hip hop, r&b to classical, jazz and blues, and is able to accommodate nearly any request. Jun is a gem of a modern violinist and musician that will ensure a memorable and enjoyable experience for all your guests and needs!

I need a comfortable performance space, a chair, sufficient lighting, and an indoor venue or protective canopy in the case of weather conditions that could cause harm to the instrument. Indoor venues are needed when temperatures drop below 12 degrees.

I bring a professional Bose PA system to amplify my backing tracks and violin - if there is also a PA system available for the event, I may plug into the existing sound system, and decide on which to use based on the best acoustics for the venue and performance.
