cultivate and deepen participants’ inner joy, and spread that
feeling throughout our communities. A professional JOYRIOT
emcee will guide you on a one-hour experience through the
streets with light choreography and playful prompts to get you
moving, and playing!
Fear keeps us separated; joy brings us together. And a JOYRIOT
aims to spread that message through spontaneous movement
in public spaces, singing to your favorite songs, strangers
becoming friends, and everyday moments turning into mini
celebrations.

Hi, we’re Paige and Mike, the faces behind JOYRIOT.
Paige is an emcee, award-winning performer, applied improv facilitator, and the person who’s always first on the dance floor. She believes play is serious business and that joy is something you choose, not something you wait for.
Mike is…not that.
He’s thoughtful. Strategic. Calm under pressure. The guy more comfortable behind the scenes than in the spotlight. Truthfully? Dancing in public embarrasses him. He doesn’t always know how to “just play.”
When Paige shared her “crazy” idea for a daytime dance party in public; headphones on, full volume, dancing through town like nobody’s watching; Mike’s first instinct wasn’t confidence...it was discomfort.
And then he said yes.
Not because it felt natural, but because he trusted the experience. He trusted Paige. And he saw what happens when people step just outside their comfort zone in a supported environment.
JOYRIOT isn’t about being the best dancer.
It’s about having a place where even the most reserved, self-conscious, “I don’t know how to do this” person can
slowly come out of their shell. Mike doesn’t dance because he’s fearless. He dances because it’s safe to try.
We’re here to help you remember what it feels like to be fully alive, in broad daylight, surrounded by
humans choosing joy on purpose.

We just need a headcount so we can have the right amount of headphones. Our silent disco system should be able to hold up to about 10,000 participants.
For our corporate clients we can curate playlists based on song requests and genres. We are happy to share playlists and make edits with your team or be trusted to curate an experience your company will love.
For individual joyriots we also request participants make song requests and we do our best to fufill those as long as the song fits the vibe we are creating with the specific joyriot.
Joyriot is inspired by experiences that go beyond performance and create real human connection. We’ve drawn influence from immersive music movements like Daybreaker and Ecstatic Dance, where music, movement, and community intersect in powerful ways.
On the musical side, we’re inspired by artists and producers like Fred again.., RÜFÜS DU SOL, and Odesza—acts that create emotional journeys, not just songs.
We’re also influenced by the energy and crowd engagement of live experiences from artists like Diplo and Calvin Harris, who understand how to move a room at scale.
Beyond music, our biggest inspiration comes from the idea that shared joy is transformative. Joyriot blends these influences into something uniquely its own—an experience designed to help people feel free, connected, and fully alive together.
