So our HOA hired them for a concert in the park. So many things went wrong. Some our fault some is on the band.
On our end, the organizer of the event waited till the band was all set up and then asked them to move back about 6 feet. That was dumb and unnecessary. Then in the middle of the first set, some dill hole decided to interrupt the band for 20 minutes for a stupid 50/50 drawing. While all of this was annoying, the band had their own problems.
The sound guy should be so ashamed of himself. The vocals sounded like they were coming from across the street, the Kick drum was thick as hell and for most of the show we couldn't hear the guitars. I'm not sure if he was mad at the singer or just completely incompetent. When the lead singer was on key (about 40%) he could do justice to the music but I don't think he could hear himself in the monitors.
This was a sad show indeed.

January 15, 2018Fun! People were singing along & dancing!
Journey Captured was exceptional! I hired them for our annual Meet The Masters of Income Property conference to add some fun to a rather serious three-day investing event and it was a huge success. People were singing along, dancing and having a blast! It was my first time hiring a band and an all-around great experience! The comment I heard over and over again was "they sounded just like Journey!" Well worth it and highly recommend!

Members of the band have played a number of venues and events, including The City of Rancho Santa Margarita FallFest, Concerts in The Park for a number of Cities, including the City of La Verne. They have also been featured at a number of popular Southern California night spots, including Schooner at Sunset Dinner Club in Sunset Beach, CA and The Slidebar Rock-N-Roll Kitchen in Fullerton, CA.
