Josh Cottrell

We hired Josh for our small destination wedding in the mountains. He was super responsive leading up to the day and had a great list of songs that he already knew, but was more than willing to learn new songs for our first dance. Come the day of the wedding, he was there early to ensure what our plans were and to make sure everything was set up. We had a very casual reception and Josh just went with it. Our guests absolutely loved having him play and were sad when it was time for him to pack up. Overall he was extremely easy and wonderful to work with and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for love entertainment for their event.

Josh was gracious and professional, and highly talented. We were so happy with the performance and all of our guests made it a point to tell us how much they enjoyed it.

I stumbled upon Josh's Life With You EP while looking for wedding music and I knew I wanted to ask him to play during the wedding. I wasn't even planning on having live music but I'm glad I decided to! Josh and Hayley played music before, during, and after my wedding ceremony and they perfectly complemented each portion of the day! The music was beautiful and they willingly learned a song for me near the last minute. I was indecisive but they learned fast and did a fantastic job. There was an awkward moment at the end of the ceremony because of miscommunication with our pastor and Josh and Hayley handled it with grace and played right through it to make it. Josh played alone at the reception and it was just as beautiful. We had a very low key reception and he played sweet love songs that perfectly fit the tone of the evening. I know he also knows many songs that would have been great to dance to if we had chosen to do that.

I booked Josh for my husband's last minute, surprise birthday party. The booking process was straightforward and simple. Josh was very easy to communicate with, answering all my questions with timely replies. He set up early for the party with his top of the line equipment including a fabulous guitar. As soon as he started playing and singing all of our guests fell in love with him! The variety of music on his playlist ensured that everyone had a favorite tune to enjoy. Josh asked me before the party what my husband's favorite songs were. I sent him several requests and Josh played them all - some of which he had to learn that week. Josh was so helpful with keeping the party on track with helping me make announcements and requests. My husband was thrilled with the party and we can't wait to book Josh for our next event!
