Josefien Stoppelenburg is an internationally acclaimed painter and classical singer based in the Chicago area, known for capturing the magic of special occasions through vibrant, expressive live painting. Drawing inspiration from nature, music, and the unique energy of each room, she creates layered, luminous original artwork on canvas as events unfold in real time.
Whether capturing the romance of a wedding or the energy of a corporate gala, Josefien seamlessly weaves venue atmospheres, custom logos, and key moments into bespoke compositions. She has created live artwork and brand activations for major organizations, corporate leaders, and venues—including Tito's Handmade Vodka, the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), Loan Vision, and the University of Chicago. Guests are treated to an engaging, interactive creative process, leaving with a timeless visual story that celebrates life's most unforgettable milestones.

Working Footprint: A minimum area of 6x6 feet (ideally 8x8 feet) to accommodate the easel, palette table, supply kit, and allow room to step back while painting.

Location & Sightlines: A flat, level surface placed (ideally, but it’s flexible) in a high-visibility, high-traffic area (near the stage, main floor, or entrance) so guests can watch the artwork progress without blocking event pathways.

Floor Protection: I provide and lay down my own professional floor cover/drop cloth to ensure the venue space remains entirely clean and protected.
