Jose Andrade

I’m a professional drummer and sound engineer based in New York City, with extensive live and studio experience across jazz, rock, reggae, Latin, and fusion projects.
I’ve toured internationally with Papa Chango since 2004, recording multiple albums and performing in the U.S., Latin America, and Europe. I’ve also worked with diverse original projects, including gypsy jazz and contemporary fusion bands.
I’m available for touring artists, original bands, high-level cover projects, recording sessions, and sub gigs, and I bring strong time, versatility, and a professional, tour-ready approach to every project.
