Before your event: a personal consultation to go over your timeline, must-play songs, do-not-play requests, special moments like first dances or announcements, and any specific vibe you're going for. Nothing is left to figure out on the day.

On the day: professional setup completed well before guests arrive, seamless transitions throughout, and a DJ who reads the room and adjusts in real time — not someone running a preset playlist.

Weddings: ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception all handled with care. Every moment lands the way you planned it.

Corporate events: the right music for your audience and your brand — sophisticated, appropriate, and energizing without being intrusive.

Kids' parties and school events: age-appropriate, high-energy, and genuinely fun. Requests welcome.

Jordan River is a professional DJ based in Greater Vancouver, currently performing as a resident DJ aboard Star of the Seas — Royal Caribbean's newest and largest cruise ship in the world.

Every day aboard the ship means performing across completely different events: high-energy dance parties, elegant cocktail receptions, kids' parties, silent discos, themed nights, and everything in between. That kind of experience builds something most local DJs don't have — the ability to read any room, serve any demographic, and make any event feel exactly right.

Whether you need a packed dance floor at your wedding reception, polished background music for a corporate event, an energetic kids' party, or a sophisticated cocktail hour — Jordan delivers a fully customized experience built around your guests, your timeline, and your vision.

Available for weddings, corporate events, private parties, kids' events, and more across Greater Vancouver, June through September.

Professional DJ equipment is included with every booking. No need to source your own sound system for most events.

Setup includes: Pioneer DJ controller, professional powered speakers suitable for events up to 150 guests, and a subwoofer available upon request for larger events or outdoor spaces.

For venues over 150 guests: happy to work directly with your venue's in-house AV team or an external AV company to ensure the right setup for the space.

Setup time: 60–90 minutes before guest arrival. Please factor this into your event timeline.

Space required: minimum 6ft x 4ft for DJ booth setup.

Music: fully customized playlists built around your event, guest demographics, and any requests or preferences you provide in advance. All genres covered — Top 40, hip hop, R&B, Latin, electronic, classics, ethnic styles, kids music, and more.
