Overview
Jonathan was from the UK. At ten years of age, he won a scholarship to study at the Yehudi Menuhin School near London, and was the BBC Southwest Young Musician of the Year at the age of 13.
He went on to study at the Royal Academy of Music, from which he graduated with honors.
He worked as a session musician in London, recording for many cast albums, movie soundtracks and also with many renowned artists from both the classical and pop arena.
He played lead violin in London for West End shows such as Guys and Dolls with Patrick Swayze, and worked regularly for Lord Andrew Lloyd-Webber and also for Simon Cowell, on TV shows such as The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent.
