Jon Seltzer - The Song Man

I hired Jon for my mom’s birthday party. Couldn’t have picked a better entertainer than Jon. He has a large range of music he can perform, he is versatile, and he reads the crowd super well. My mom and I had in mind a chill setting and I gave him a set list of Jack Johnson, Beatles, and more. He performed those well and then when he saw the crowd wanted higher energy music, he played those too and even got the crowd dancing! I even needed him longer than the timeframe and he accommodated for everything! Will definitely be hiring Jon again in the future.

Jon performed at two events for our wedding, the ceremony and the reception, and we are so grateful we found him. For our ceremony he played acoustic guitar and sang, and at the reception his band The Darn Tootins performed folk and country songs.
Communication was clear and easy from the very beginning. Jon was kind and personable, as well as professional. Everything was on time and just right--which is so impressive since we got married at the top of mountain ridge in Ojai and then there was a venue change! He played the songs we picked out so beautifully and people were dancing all night!

My husband and I first experienced Jon’s music at an upscale wedding in Ojai. He played as guests arrived and also during the ceremony. Since, we have hired him for several personal moments in our life: parties, our baby shower, big birthdays, and my father’s life celebration. Each event had a different vibe, and Jon was able to capture the spirit of each moment perfectly.
