Johnny Moscow

High energy coupled with professionalism and fun. Johnny makes the crowd dance but leaves room for people to order drinks and socialize. He is a seasoned DJ with both performance and stagehand experience and can handle the job, no matter how high profile. He has played at many private events with celebrities such as Mike Tyson, the Kottonmouth Kings, Wu-Tang, and more, and can handle being around A list people with ease, but is happy to DJ your cousin's high school graduation party also.

Johnny Moscow was born and raised in the entertainment capital of the world, Las Vegas. In the early 90’s he fell in love with electronic music and started attending underground warehouse raves in 1998. He has been producing music of various genres for over 20 years and working as a DJ and event producer since 2014.

He put his previous project Time Protocol on the back burner in 2017 when he was asked to join the world famous Dancetronauts. This opportunity led him to perform at EDC Las Vegas 2018 on the Bass Station. His performance career has also included Burning Man, the Las Vegas Halloween Parade, Fremont Street Experience, Terrace Afterhours, Hustler Club, Zero Point, and many other amazing shows at countless venues. He’s shared the stage with world-class talent including Mark Farina, Antennae, Desert Dwellers, Gerald, Cazztek, Nicky Genesis, Brett Rubin, and Donald Glaude, just to name a few.

As the founder of YAYFRIENDS! he has curated many musical experiences since 2014 including Sound Check series, the world's first silent raves aboard the Las Vegas Monorail, which was featured in DJ Mag US, the Las Vegas Weekly and (link hidden). YAYFRIENDS! was also the co-host of the popular ZODIAC parties at the Hustler Club and Artisan, as well as Bass Church at Juicy Beets. In addition, he has thrown many other events including the drive in rave series on the island of Oahu in Hawaii, private yacht parties, penthouse celebrations, and more. Finally, Johnny creates his own 3D projection mapped visuals and graphics. He plays a wide variety of high energy EDM genres and has a unique style of blending aggressive bass house and urban influenced tech house tracks to take the audience on a nostalgic musical journey of tracks they know but have never heard.

Johnny has access to sound and DJ equipment for an additional fee. He plays on a wide range of Pioneer gear and am versatile as far as whether it be on a controller or CDJs. Johnny is not a vinyl DJ. Denon and Numark gear would not be preferable but is doable if necessary.
