Johnny Jones on Sax

You can expect me to set up a computer and PA speaker wherever there’s electricity and perform in your small or large venue. If there’s a sound system or DJ provided, I’m always willing to collaborate with them to ensure the best experience for the event is made. You can also count on a duration of consistent music to your liking. Special song requests are accepted if requests are provided in a respectable timeframe.

Johnny Jones is professional saxophonist from Prince George’s County, Maryland. A lover of music and arts from a young age, he started playing the saxophone at age 12, but also plays the piano, sings, raps, and composes his own music.

Johnny is a self-taught musician, and has worked as a professional session saxophonist across the Metropolitan area for corporate, government, and private events both live and in studio for over 10 years — including as the featured saxophone player for Royal Carribean Cruises, where he traveled to and performed in over 80 cities across Asia, Australia, Europe and North America.

Currently back working out of DC, Johnny continues to perform around the DMV metropolitan area with various artists and groups.

One or two PA speakers (Electro-Voice ZLX-12P), a laptop or iPad to play backing tracks, a clip-on sax mic and/or handheld mic for the host/announcements.
