They put on a high energy “Rock & Roll Review” including songs by Jerry Lee Lewis “Great balls of Fire” and The Young Rascal’s “Good Lovin’”. They put on a “real” show, including a Spotlight and a Color Light Show. People will definitely want to pay to see Johnny Diamond & the Silver Hubcap Band play over and over again.
The Johnny Diamond Band is like no other. We do a 50’s and 60’s Rock and Roll Review and cover such artists as Chuck Berry, The Blues Brothers, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Elvis. We feature a complete show featuring a spotlight, 50’s costumes and a color light show. It is quite an experience, and we can custom design our show for your personal event, including Twist Contests, Hula-Hoop Contests, Bubble Gum Blowing Contests, Best Dressed Contest, etc.
Johnny Diamond & the Silver Hubcap Band are definitely not your average “run-of-the-mill” guitar-pickin’ band. Johnny plays the best Tenor Saxophone in the State of Texas , and has played with major stars such as the Coasters and the Beach Boys. We would love to play for your event. Our normal booking rate is $2,500.00. per event, based on 4 Musicians and a Sound & Lighting Technician performing for up to 4 hours with a 15-minute break each hour. Our booking rate is definitely negotiable based on the type of venue we will be playing for. We find that it is best to advertise the event as a “50’s Party” with prizes offered to the “Best 50’s Outfit” and “Best Twister”. This will help to build-up a crowd to attend the event. (I can help you with that). You should allow at least a month of advertising before the event.
