Overview
I am a square dance caller (hoedown style, also known as "swap and swing")and lead country, round, line, folk and novelty dances.
* I travel Ohio and into surrounding states.
* Dance programs can be developed to achieve the goals established by the event planner such as fun, getting acquainted, team building, etc.
• Dance programs can be developed for people of all ages and experience levels.
• I specialize in taking just enough time to show people how to dance.
• People just want to have fun and enjoy each other's company, not be an expert.
• I bring music and a sound system.
• You provide electricity within 50 ft, water, eight-foot table and people.

John did a great job at instructing us. He was very patient given hat we were all amateurs and there were some young children participating. There was a lot of laughter and everyone had a wonderful time.

January 30, 2014Fun was had by all!
John was very patient with everyone considering no one had any experience. It didn't take long for everyone to catch on because of John's easy to follow instructions and calls. Fun was had by all from ages 4-89!
I am trying thinking up another occasion to use John again.

• Began leading dances in 1981.
• Have conducted programs for or at the following: Ohio Farm Bureau, county Farm Bureaus, Buckeye Leadership Workshop, 4-H Camps and Events, Ohio State Fair, county fairs, Soil & Water Conservation Districts, churches, family outings, corporate events, festivals, weddings, fraternities, sororities, barn dances, college events, Girl Scouts, fundraising events, community events, school events and more.
