Every aspect of our event that John played a part in, he delivered and made better. We had an outdoor community Independence Day event at our church, and John was our special music.
As a musician, I appreciated his level of musical proficiency, the timbre of his tenor voice, and how his voice was consistently on pitch.
As a person, he was easy-going, flexible, and was more interested in how he could make our event better, vs how we could make his pocketbook larger...not a diva, in the least.
We gave John carte blanche on the set, with only a few restrictions (because we were outside a church), and he sang a spectrum of tunes from CCR to U2, Skynyrd to Greenwood, with some original pieces in between.
The people were engaged, and he really set the tone of the event, with his indie-rock styling. He was the perfect fit for our event, and I wouldn't hesitate to call upon him again, for future events.
